Due to continuing growth we are seeking an Enviromental Scientist / Geologist for our Baton Rouge, LA office.

Responsibilities

  • Perform subsurface assessments and risk assessments for a variety of customers
  • Field sampling and oversight of environmental activities
  • Preparation of technical correspondence, project proposals, reports, work plans and project specifications
  • Data compilation, reduction, interpretation and evaluation of environmental regulations
Requirements
  • BS in Geology or Environmental Science
  • 1-2 years of previous experience
  • HAZWOPER is a plus
  • TWIC card is also a plus
  • Strong problem solving abilities and aptitude
  • Ability to present technical information, both written, orally and electronically in a concise and professional manner
  • Ability to effectively communicate with other technical professionals, clients and regulatory professionals is a must
  • Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Self-starter, flexible team player, willing and able to work on a wide variety of tasks and the ability to coordinate staff
  • Must be a U. S Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder)
