Job DescriptionMaterials Handler II-12 month Contract
Location of job: Albany, NY
Responsibilities:
* Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment * Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items * Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges * Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift * Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped * Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines * Managing the non-inventory items stored for each business unit (moving, labeling, and updating holding lists) * Responsible for managing all items allocated for scrap and coordinating with scrap supplier * Manages storage requests for special projects/shipments ? Warehouse storage management and space allocation * Coordinate crating requests for all special needs return materials authorizationsQualifications:
* Demonstrate mechanical aptitude including ability to use hand tools * Applies general math skills including fractions, decimals, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division * Familiar with SAP inventory management a plus * Ability to speak distinctly and see and hear clearly * Adhere to safety procedures consistent with the use of hand and power tools
Typical Education and Experience
Associate's Degree or minimum of 2 years of related experience; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Salary Ranges$16.46 - $20.75Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training. In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.
