Provides psychological services to patients seen in primary care clinics. Services include diagnostic evaluations, psychological intervention, and staff consultation. Provides clinical supervision and training when practicum students, interns, postdoctoral fellows are present or medical residents are present.
Education:
Post-doctoral psychology trainee may be considered.
Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from APA accredited program
Completion of internship from APA accredited program
Completion of at least 1 year of postdoctoral fellowship or comparable experience in a health psychology, primary care mental health and/or consultation- liaison psychology setting preferred
Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ post-licensure experience in Clinical Psychology preferred.
Minimum 3 years’ post-licensure experience in providing individual psychotherapy, clinical supervision and consultation strongly preferred.
Strong working knowledge of cognitive-behavioral therapy and other empirically supported clinical interventions, crisis assessment and intervention, diagnostic formulation and treatment planning, general clinical and health psychology, and clinical consultation.
Ability to quickly synthesize medical and psychiatric data and formulate effective and evidence based clinical recommendations.
