Job Description
We are currently looking for a collaborative, analytical, and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our accounting team in our Milwaukee home office as a Staff Accountant.  In this supporting role, you’ll oversee and organize financial transactions, communicate with accounting and operations team members, and help prepare financial documents for daily/monthly reporting.

Here’s what you’ll do:
  • Organize and process financial transactions – Organize and process financial transactions by generating reports, accessing bank transactions, and updating data in financial workbooks.
  • Prepare month-end reports – Reconcile financial transactions, comparing budget and expense spending for monthly reporting.
  • Maintain financial systems – Financial organization using company-wide reporting systems.
  • Manage account reconciliation – Assist in tracking financial balance information for various accounts.
  • Assist with clerical and administrative tasks – This includes compiling monthly reporting requirements for various clients within the regional portfolio.

Here’s what we’re looking for:
  • An Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong accounting, financial reporting, and data management skills.
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced entrepreneurial organization.
  • Experience supporting accounting activities in a high volume, point of sales, geographically distributed business environment (e.g., retail).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.  A team player able to collaborate with our on-site operations teams.
  • Desire to learn, grow, and build a career in accounting.
