The Role: You will be assigned specific projects which are designed to add value to the organization while providing real world experience. While receiving mentoring and guidance, working with the Industrial Marketing Vertical team members on the growth initiatives.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

• Develop channel management customer excellence tool kit
• Research and help develop new collaborative training tools
• Develop end user campaign to drive awareness of new product(s)
• Develop project management skills through new product development process
• Design and present new social media campaign ideas.
• Help develop and promote Xylem's social responsibility program Watermark to new audiences
• Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends.
• Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback.
• Prepare detailed promotional presentations.
• Help with the planning and hosting of marketing events.
• Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.
• Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content.
• This will be a 10 week internship position located near a Xylem facility based on the locations listed on the job posting*

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

• Is attending an accredited University studying toward a Bachelors degree in Marketing/Business Administration.
• Has a strong sense of ownership and drive; a self-starter
• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills, and is comfortable engaging others and asking questions
