Job Description

As a Business Banking Specialist Intern

You will learn about:

  • Actively deepening existing customer relationships by engaging Business Banking relationship opportunities through business development activities.
  • About U.S. Bank products/services such as business deposit products, treasury management products, business credit cards and payment solutions, as well as all other suitable solutions as appropriate.
  • Appropriately handling Business Banking customer service issues in a portfolio.
  • Actively managing relationships with branch and business line partners and referring clients to other U.S. Bancorp areas for additional needs.

Basic qualifications:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree

Preferred qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think and work independently within a professional setting
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Flexibility to work within a multi-discipline team and receive dynamic on-the-job training
  • Highly organized; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
